The Kingdom of Netherlands has signed a €10.6 million grant with Ethiopia to enhance the latter’s horticulture port development facility namely the Cool Port Addis project Phase I.
The grant arrangement was signed by Finance State Minister Semereta Sewasew and Henk Jan Bakker ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Ethiopia.
Situated within the Modjo Green Logistics, the Cool Port Addis Project I is designed to reduce bottlenecks hindering Ethiopia’s realization of its horticultural potential mainly avocado value chain and other fruits and vegetables through an end-to-end solution, streamlining logistic process.
The Netherlands is one of the leading trading and investment partners of Ethiopia.
