Veteran politician urges oppositions to meticulously encounter Abiy’s regime

Politician Lidetu Ayalew called on oppositions to pursue a scrupulous approach in the struggle against Abiy Ahmed’s administration.

The politician recently disseminated an article dubbed “Kemitsate Ethiopia Enterf Yihon (Can we escape Ethiopia’s doomsday?)” to the media emphasizing the need to follow a meticulous approach as any mistake in the fight against Abiy’s regime might ended with state collapse.

Lidetu discerns that many Ethiopians have become opponents of Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed after they experienced countless destruction though. And they are sacrificing their lives struggling against his regime.

However, the politician identifies three basic impediments of the struggle including absence of formidable political parties, lack of enthusiasm among existing parties to form a coalition, and absence of preparation what to replace on behalf of the existing regime.

Unless the oppositions improve their weaknesses, Lidetu warns that either the nation falls shortly or rule by Abiy’s government for long experiencing the exacerbation of poverty and civil war which leads to a total collapse once the regime lose power.

He believes Ethiopia is not at the crossroads; it rather is at a one-way path which leads to a foreknown destination of state collapse what he calls it “a doomsday”.

In order that, he says, “we need to take a strong measure on ourselves to rescue the country from this danger which can be pronounced as a doomsday.”

In view of that, he advises the oppositions to evaluate and improve their weakness to achieve their objective of sustaining country’s existence after the fall of Abiy’s regime.

To achieve this, the politician expects the oppositions to carry out 10 tasks together with applying peaceful struggle, refraining from labeling each other, compromising differences and pulling together for common agenda of rescuing the country from state collapse.
