Nigeria’s Aliko Dangote retained top position on Forbes Magazine’s African richest peoples list for the 13th year in a row as the Magazine unveiled the 2024 wealthiest individuals.
Forbes indicates that Aliko Dangote’s wealth increased by $400 million and is now worth $13.9 billion.
South African business tycoon Johann Rupert goods is second on the list with $10.1 billion net worth while his countryman, Nicky Oppenheimer became third with $9.4 billion.
The Magazine applied currency exchange rates and stock prices by the close of business on January 8, 2024 as criteria to compare the billionaires.
