The Commercial Bank of Ethiopia aka CBE announced that the diaspora community has mobilized more than four million US dollars so far in order to assist the national restoration works.
CBE president Abe Sano said in a statement on Saturday that the diasporas have mobilized the finance through its ayezonethiopia.com platform in addition to the active engagements in the diplomacy sector to help the country ensure peace, unity, sovereignty.
The bank is playing due role for proper disbursement of the finance transferred via this platform in addition to covering the payment to the service, he said.
He also expressed appreciation to those who develop and facilitate the platform.
